Core values are what support the vision, shape the culture and reflect what is important to a company. They are the essence of the company's identity – the principles, beliefs and philosophy of values.

If core values are clearly defined and lived by all the employees, then customers, vendors and public in general will identify them.

Our speaker is Kris Blankenship of Bayonet Plumbing Cooling Heating.  A graduate of the University of Tampa and Armwood High School, Kris is a lifelong Tampa resident. Since 1998, she has been dedicated to helping Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Cooling evolve from a small local family business into an enterprise. From 40 employees and one location, the Blankenship family has grown their business to 5 locations, more than 600 employees and surpassed $95 million in sales in 2020. For 20 years, Kris has grown with the company, taking on roles in customer service, sales, human resources, payroll, and marketing over her career. In 2018, the Pasco Economic Development Council awarded Bayonet Industry of the Year. Kris enjoys volunteering with nonprofits to improve the community, to promote youth sports, and to assist children, and she's happiest when all of those intersect. She enjoys helping and inspiring other entrepreneurs and business owners who are chasing their dreams.
